Kendrick Celestine?

I have factual information from someone connected to him personally that Kendrick left the program for a personal issue involving a girlfriend back home. I also know that it had NOTHING to do with playing time. Playing time hinged on Kendrick knowing where to be and when, and the staff couldn't use him in a large portion of the playbook as of game 3.

Kendrick had difficulties adjusting to Boulder from the beginning and to school. He was on the edge from the time he got here, deciding to leave several times. He missed the spring and needed to focus all summer on school - which he did. However, he nearly left several times before this. He played quite a bit for a true freshmen, but almost didn't make it thru the first semester LAST year, wanting to return to his Rural Louisiana roots.

When he got the news about his girlfriend, he was gone.

When I was told the reason, I assumed he left school and Boulder right away, but frankly, finishing the semester would be the BEST thing he could do if he wants to transfer somewhere in the spring closer to home. If he is in Boulder, good!

I was told that he had adjustment issues all last year. Boulder is a bit different than rural Louisiana and I think it's easy to see that not all kids can make that transition as easy as others. Kendrick had some struggles with it.

I'm confident the staff is supporting him in his choice and will make sure they help him down the road.

To say he was run-off for lack of playing time is extremely irresponsible and you deserve some Neg's!

If I was back in the stone age could I hang out with young DBT?

Back in my Stone Age days, I'd have kicked your ass and fed you to a T-Rex. Then you'd have become T-Rex ****. You'd have become organic matter in the soil to which a tree would have grown. After mega-centuries of growth and decompositon, you would be pieces of organic matter buried 30 or 40 ft. below the surface. :smile2:

I'd be oil? coool.

Yeah. And you'd be burned and become a toxic emmision into the atmosphere and Al Gore would pay a 50 cent carbon credit for using you. You'd be inhaled by the next potential developer of the cure for cancer who, after inhaling you, would get cancer before he/she could develop the cure and die. Oh, the irony.

Good to see this thread has gone way off topic. I was starting to worry. It was looking ugly for me a while back.

I know a guy who got pregnant. He is now my governator.
At least his wife is a hottie, although now out of work.....speaking of which, when does the Hottie competition roll out?

We had it in January or February I believe because I was around for all of it and signed up early Jan..but hopefully Wispy has time to set it up this year since he had a baby this summer (yes, he personally gave birth to it)...

Also, I suggested it a long time ago, but we should have an allbuffs ultimate wife hottie contest...:smile2:

Sorry for calling you out earlier in the thread, I found out who repped and ran, he wasnt even a contributor.

His wife in the movie Junior? Wasn't that Emma Thompson? Not hot. Or his wife in real life, the emaciated skeleton of a Kennedy, Maria Shriver.

Either way, what the **** are you talking about???

Hopefully it's not fixed this time. No way was/is Katherine Heigel the hottest. Not then not now.

Alesandra Ambrosio, Cheryl (Tweedy) Cole, Marissa Miller, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Kate Beckinsale, Julianne Hough, Joanna Krupa, Megan Fox, Sarah Shahi, Keeley Hazell, Kelly Brook...I mean come-on. These are hotties.

Every school has a Katherine Heigel looking chick. I dated a few as I'm sure a lot of you guys have dated hotter then Heigel.

Here's calling for a Super Hottie competition (if Heigel is considered the "best" hottie).

Actually...I was talking about Brooke Shields....so, I am completely screwed up!

Sounds like the kid may have done what needed to be done with regard to his new child and is ready to turn the page.

I'd never read the original thread, I just got through November and fast-forwarded to today.

Hoping this works out for everyone. Good for him being enrolled. None of my business, but I don't know how a 19 or 20-year old kid can afford CU out of state tuition without help, hope he has some, or a plan that works.

I'm sending good vibes his way for trying to to the right thing, even when it hurts.

student loans.

I would like to think Katoa is watching what Kendrick is doing now to improve his life.

Hmmmm, what was I thinking?

You're assuming that Lynn Katoa can read. In the light of how he handled his opportunity at CU, it would appear that he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
