Cherry Creek junior athlete Tyus Carter and friends were in Boulder recently to take in the Buffaloes’ annual spring game. They liked what they saw on and off the field. “I’ve been working with Brian Dawkins this offseason, he’s a coach on our seven-on-seven team. With him being a perfectionist, when I go back and assess myself, not real major things, but technical things. I can slow the game down for me and make the game easier. Just really breaking down the play while it’s happening. He’s been helping me with footwork, reading the offense when they break the huddle and route recognition.” — Tyus Carter
