Kyle Ringo Blog: Poll says Folsom Field fourth best Pac-12 stadium

Folsom fared better than Ringo if we did a vote on the best reporters in the Pac12. My vote is 13th

Ringo voted the Rose Bowl #1. I'd go with #12. Awful old stadium, that's a long way from UCLA's campus. Easily the worst.

They just remodeled the press box, it's really nice. A lot of these guys are probably taking that into account. For example, Folsoms press box is horrible and faces East.

Edit. Just read what they were voting on, but still say it might color their opinion.

Remodeling the press box would go a long way towards getting the media back on our side. They bring up the press box- "and there's not even a women's bathroom!" - every time they mention the facilities.

At least they didn't poll the "Crabby CU Consortium on Everything That is Wrong with Intercollegiate Athletics" or whoever Ringo talked to regarding facilities.

The Rose Bowl should be #1. It's the freaking Rose Bowl. Folsom at #4 seems about right. Actually, given the current state of affairs, it's probably a bit on the high side.

I think they underrate Stanford, though. That's a great place to watch a football game. They discount it because of the blase approach Stanford "fans" have for the game. It's not an intimidating place, but it's a very nice stadium.
