Didn't I hear somewhere that Chauncey would be playing in this tournament?

Isn't it somewhat ironic that at a school that is definitely a "football" school that the most famous and well paid professional athlete to come from here is a basketball player?

I don't know if Chauncey is more famous than the Whizzer was but that was a different era. I would put them on about the same level and add that I essentially agree with your statement. Oy. How far we have fallen.

I get your point, but being the basketball player is a former NBA Championship MVP, and an All-Star, and one of the best point guards in the league right now...... he still might be the most famous from the school currently regardless of what kind of shape the football program was in.
