I know you guys will not be in the PAC10 right away but watch & enjoy LK's antics. He embarrassed Tenn & the SEC while here & he's doing a pretty good job of embarrassing USC in his short time there... He pushed USC's compliance office to complain to the NCAA about the player who was allegedly contacted illegally by Fla., ALA., Oregon, Wash & Fresno St. & Garrett had to apologize....

Now he's being sued by the Tenn. Titans over his hiring of Pola as OC...

    http://www.tennessean.com/article/2...Tennessee-Titans-sue-Lane-Kiffin-Southern-Cal

IMHO he will be gone before you guy's make the switch... Take it from this Southern boy, watching Lane Kiffin & USC over the next coupla years is gonna be better than watchin' a South Georgia Trailer Park Fire...

The folks in L.A. aren't going to know what hit them.....ENJOY... You will not believe what this guy says & does.... See ya on Oct. 4th...

Kiffin just has the look of sleaze about him. It seems like everywhere he's been has a film over it after he leaves. USC under Pete "I know nothing" Caroll, the Raiders, Tennessee and now back to SC. I thought tricky Ricky would be the loose cannon in the Pac 10, but Kiffin is truly in a class by himself.

Looks like a quality job. But as a No. 1 pick and a QB, he could do better IMO.

Kiffin is a jackoff, although I admit I am slightly amused by his actions.

    I'm just curious...

Is there a contract between the NFL and NCAA dealing with coaching issues? Politeness aside, I really don't see how any laws could have been broken when an offer was made for a completely different position in a completely different league. What's the basis of the lawsuit? The article didn't make that clear to me...

USC's problems with Kiffin will only get worse, just wait until he starts losing.

Speaking of scumbags, Tony will get a reported $18 million plus benifits for stepping down as BP CEO.
He will also get an executive position with another division of BP. Not bad pay for destroying our Gulf Coast, the death of 11 men, and the living of thousands of people - not to mention the damage to the eco system for decades to come. BP should hire Kiffin, he would fit right in.

77, I'm with ya, man, but at some point you gotta let Tony go. If it's not BP it's Exxon, or Enron or Goldman Sachs or any of the other corporate capitalist douchebags that think the world is their personal pool to be exploited for profit...

    Oh. Sorry.

As hard as it might be to believe - and I said this months, ago, not that I'm sayin' I told ya so - USC hiring Kiffen will make CU hiring the Hawk look relatively smart.

It kind of sucks when you can't even open a fairly innocuous thread at work anymore. Just sayin'. I know, I'm just an old fogy. Carry on.

I grew up on the Gulf Coast so it's personal for me. I really don't know who is a bigger rat - Tony or Lane. I despise people who satisfy their greed at the expense of others, and then act like their
$__t doesn't stink. F both of them. The fire is just starting to smoke with Kiffen, he will ge them in more trouble. As far as USC hiring Kiffen, they had to know what they were getting into. They probably thought they were to valuable to be punished.
