Larry Zimmer back and announcing home games this fall!

Let's hope history repeats itself:

Zim called only the home games in his last year as the voice of the Broncos. The Broncos played very well that year, although his last game was a bit of a disappointment.

The year after he hung up the mike, the Broncos won their first super bowl.

Go Buffs.

This news was awesome-put a smile on my face when I read that. Thrilled to see Zim get to go out on his own terms......and I'll throw a couple of my favorite Zim memories up here: His call of the Hail Mary, and the Salaam 2000 yard run against Iowa State in '94.

Great news and great to hear - Love this guy Larry Zimmer, hard to imagine him not around CU

His final home game will be on his 80th Birthday. That game happens to be USC at Folsom on Friday night on ESPN2

We can dream right...... :) Man, how much glee would surface to see CU turn that corner on his BDAY and last season at the helm.

Hope springs eternal ;)
