Like it or not Huskers, you need Buffs rivalry

Nebraska fan has no desire to have a rivalry with anyone out of the top 20-25. They may not be ranked up there either but that is their goal. They just don't feel CU has been there consistantly enough to warrant their attention. Arrogant yes but it appears to be reality. In fact most feel CU belongs in the Big XII more than say Baylor but not much more.

It's sorta like comparing a 10 lb. yapping lap dog to a 120 lb. German Shepherd. The Yapper may make a lot of noise and pump itself up. It may be annoying and may irritate the Big dog, may even get in a few good licks every now and then they still feel the big dog owns the little dog whenever it wants too.

If the CU NU thing is going to become a real rivalry then NU fan will need to lower thier standards or CU will need to raise theirs.........at least in the eyes of Husker fan.

The problem is the huskers aren't a 120 pound Sheppy any more, they are more like and English Bulldog: big, slow, slobbery, mean looking, but essentially useless.

Appearances in Big 12 Championship Games:

Don't worry, let NU fans go on thinking that it is still the mid-90s and that they're an elite program. A middle of the pack Big 12 team talking **** is pure entertainment.

That's the funny part. NU has played in exactly 1 B12 CCG this millenium. And they lost.

CU has played in 4, winning 1 in that same stretch. Someone is still living in the 90s thinking they're still a top team.

It's kinda funny. I still remember when (I believe it was the first big XII championship game) and NU was heavily favored over Texas and Major Culbert dismantled them. That kid was a gamer and fun to watch.
 
Major Culbert? Who the **** is that? Perhaps you mean James Brown.

when have facts stopped the big red from inventing urban legend? :cool:

save for last year, there has not been any snow in folsom on gameday with which to form the famed urine snowballs. even if there had been, the laws of thermochemistry would have to be suspended for this particular legend to work - as heat transfer between body temperature and frozen fluffball would result in an unthrowable slush.
