looks like BZ buyout settled

Bohn has shown a good business sense and we may not get the whole 500K but I think he will get a good chunk of change for us

how the hell would we not get all 500k? did we settle with Barnett or pay him his full buyout?

I believe the answer to that question is "no" but I can't say for sure. I remember at least one article that said the deal with Barnett saved the school money because it did not pay him the full amount.

according to a poster (Buff-Mac) at NB.com, he emailed BG Brooks and got a response that BZ will pay the 500,000. FWIW.

"I emailed Brooks to get a clarification on BZ's buyout, and the
following was BG's email response back to me:

"Hey, ____ --
Thanks for your interest and the email . . .
Yes, Bzdelik will honor the terms of his contract and pay the $500,000.
And you're right -- there were hints that he might try to finagle out
of it, but apparently the legal folks on both ends worked it out to
CU's advantage.
