Credit to gindro59 over on the Rivals board for the find. P12 Network is listed as one of the 35 channels that will be included (looks like the majority are sports channels).

Article doesn't seem to indicate when the update is going to take place. Plus it's Comcast so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a surcharge to use it.

You have to have a specific Comcast router to make this work - I just tried it yesterday :)

I didn't get the impression that this was the crappy streaming service that only worked in your own home on your local wifi, I thought this was a broader update to the app.

UPDATE: Here is a better article with more details. Sounds like it doesn't have the same limitations as the crappy AnyPlay service...plus I've got a Verizon data plan for my phone and tablet and it sounds like they are partnering to allow it over their wireless network not just wifi, so bonus if you are a Verizon customer.

App was just updated - it's re-branded TV GO, no special router is needed - you can now stream the Pac-12 network live for comcast customers

Thanks! Haven't looked into it yet, but I assume this means we East Coasters can access it, too (won't surprise me if it ain't the case). Rep.

Yep...just updated my app and i'm testing it now seems to be working very well on my home WiFi, and the stream quality is much higher than what I've seen going through the Xfinity website on my laptop. This almost makes up for them refusing to allow us to use the native P12 app. It also includes all of the P12 regional network feeds, as well as all the ESPN feeds, FS1, NBC Sports, and the Golf Channel.

You still are unable to sign into the Pac-12 site if you have comcast. Stupid really, but at least there is now phone support for live streaming from comcast.
