Good win by CSU, but they better be careful with their next 3...at Air Force, at UNLV, New Mexico. They also have tricky trips to Boise State and Wyoming after that.
They'll be entering Selection Sunday with 8 losses IMO. They look headed for 8/9 seed.

They've beaten the MWC doormats on the road and lost to the good ones to the road. The key to a decent seed for them is how they can do when they face the mid tier on the road -- at UNLV, at Air Force, at Boise State, at Wyoming. Their remaining stretch is difficult. Ironically, losing most of those might end up doing them a favor if it gets them out of that horrible 8/9 position which is their most likely destination.
That's on Lombardi for being an idot. When you're ranked and playing a home game against an unranked opponent that is behind you in the standings... it would be beyond pathetic to rush the court after victory. That's a game you're supposed to win.
For the sake of the credibility of basketball on the Front Range, I'm very glad that there wasn't a court rush tonight.
Rushing the court is only for very, very rare circumstances. Tomorrow night, CU has a revenge game against the #9 team in the nation and a budding rival. Even if we won on a buzzer beater, I wouldn't support rushing the court. But at least it would be halfway justifiable.
Good win for CSU. I really like their team: it all starts with the physicality of Iverson. What a lucky find on the transfer wire.
Still, Eustachy would be wise to pull a 1 and done. The best team in modern CSU history and only 1 sellout. They graduate everybody and there isn't anything left behind.

That's actually exactly what my point was, I guessed you missed it. If you'd read on in my post, you'd note that the crunch for them comes against the mid-tier MWC teams they're about to face on the road.
