Finally have a decent week from a few spots and I run into Abs and his buzz saw with having seemingly every player in the Minny/Ratbird game.

    Gah!!!

    Thankful I didn't start the Giants D:wow:

After going 2-3 Brees, Roethlisberger, Slaton, and Thomas "Yes I tried to trade you" Jones delivered big. Rounded it out with points from Johnny Knox, Sidney Rice, and the Eagles D.

Thank god I left Jacobs on the bench. :smile2:

Bradshaw is still available in my money league (lineup listed here) but no one will take him because there are only 7 add drops. I have 4 RBs in the top 30. I need WRs.

Agreed. After keeping Jacobs (and Brees) I was pretty bumbed with his performance so far. I let Eli and Thomas Jones go. First pick was Slaton then Rothleisberger then Antonio "I cant get off IR" Bryant and the Jones bc he was best available. Weird. Good thing I played McGahee during most of his hot streak.

Pretty sure my keepers will be Brees and Big Ben. I hate RBs and WRs.

I went up against Brady and AP this week, but I countered with MJD and Thomas Jones. Thankfully my opponent left Randy Moss and Joe Flacco on the bench though!! :wow::wow:

In my money league the two highest scoring teams have 104 points each-
Too bad they played each other. :rofl2: Nothing like a tie.

I scored 142 points in my league, which was the highest anyone had scored all year...until my opponent scored 153. :gun:

Exactly abs.. I've been part of fantasy leagues where one guy started 6-0 and ended up 7-6 and out of the playoffs.. Things can change in a hurry HF..

What the **** kind of scoring does that league use? Do you get a point per play? Point per minute?

    10 teams
2 QBs per team (this is where the big point total come from)
    2 RB
    3 WR
    1 TE
    1 DST

The scoring is turned up a bit.
PaYd - Passing Yards 0+ PaYds = .1 points for every 1 PaYd
ReYd - Receiving Yards 0+ ReYds = .2 points for every 1 ReYd
RuYd - Rushing Yards 0+ RuYds = .2 points for every 1 RuYd

But the money really comes from yardage + scoring...

FG - Field Goals 2 points
Plus 1 point for a FG of 20 to 29 Yds
Plus 2 points for a FG of 30 to 39 Yds
Plus 3 points for a FG of 40 to 49 Yds
Plus 5 points for a FG of 50+ Yds

PaTD - Passing TD 4 points
Plus 2 points for a PaTD of 0 to 9 Yds
Plus 4 points for a PaTD of 10 to 19 Yds
Plus 6 points for a PaTD of 20 to 29 Yds
Plus 8 points for a PaTD of 30 to 39 Yds
Plus 10 points for a PaTD of 40 to 49 Yds
Plus 12 points for a PaTD of 50 to 59 Yds
Plus 14 points for a PaTD of 60 to 69 Yds
Plus 16 points for a PaTD of 70 to 79 Yds
Plus 18 points for a PaTD of 80 to 89 Yds
Plus 20 points for a PaTD of 90 to 100 Yds

ReTD - Receiving TD 4 points
Plus 2 points for a ReTD of 0 to 9 Yds
Plus 4 points for a ReTD of 10 to 19 Yds
Plus 6 points for a ReTD of 20 to 29 Yds
Plus 8 points for a ReTD of 30 to 39 Yds
Plus 10 points for a ReTD of 40 to 49 Yds
Plus 12 points for a ReTD of 50 to 59 Yds
Plus 14 points for a ReTD of 60 to 69 Yds
Plus 16 points for a ReTD of 70 to 79 Yds
Plus 18 points for a ReTD of 80 to 89 Yds
Plus 20 points for a ReTD of 90 to 100 Yds

RuTD - Rushing TD 4 points
Plus 2 points for a RuTD of 0 to 9 Yds
Plus 4 points for a RuTD of 10 to 19 Yds
Plus 6 points for a RuTD of 20 to 29 Yds
Plus 8 points for a RuTD of 30 to 39 Yds
Plus 10 points for a RuTD of 40 to 49 Yds
Plus 12 points for a RuTD of 50 to 59 Yds
Plus 14 points for a RuTD of 60 to 69 Yds
Plus 16 points for a RuTD of 70 to 79 Yds
Plus 18 points for a RuTD of 80 to 89 Yds
Plus 20 points for a RuTD of 90 to 100 Yds

If your on the goal line and you throw a 5 yd pass to a WR that runs 100 yards and scores you get about 24 points. The scoring makes big time players making big time plays really valuable in this league. If the game is a low scoring grinder with a lot of running plays your points total is low.

QBs are the most valuable players followed by 4 or 5 WRs and 4 or 5 RBs. Its all about the end zone. Thank god I have Brees. Tom Brady was worth 90 points this week. :smile2:

Ive struggled mightily in my college FFL. The information is not reliable and the teams are very much hot and cold.

This has been my worst year EVER at FF. I have never been out of the running for the playoffs and I just can't figure out where I have gone wrong to be honest.

Team is pretty much how i drafted. only trade was Westbrook and Jackson for Brown and Sim-Walker

    C Palmer QB
    C Benson RB
    R Brown RB
    D Bowe WR
    S Smith WR
    Z Miller TE
    J Carney K
    Packers DST
    M Hasselbeck QB
    L Tomlinson RB
    M Sims-Walker WR
    J Carlson TE
    N Rackers K
    Bills DST

    Starting 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST. Must have 1QB, 1RB, 1TE, 1K, 1DST on the bench. Keeps teams from stockpiling.

How this team has gone 1-5 and then loses to rosters such as

    J Flacco
    P Manning (R)
    D Ward
    D Brown
    J Addai (R)
    H Ward
    W Welker
    E Royal (R)
    J Shockey
    B Pettigrew (R)
    O Mare
    R Gould (R)
    Redskins
    Bears (R)

Is beyond me. Don't start Hasselbeck first week back from broken ribs an he goes for 4TD. Start him against and average AZ secondary and he get <1 point.

I really wish I could look at my roster and decide who to drop, but outside of droping S. Smith for S. Rice this week, I have no clue how this team can not be at lest .500.

It must just be the little things. I am sure we will pop soon.

    We'll see. :smile2:

Flacco is a head scratcher. Shockey had his biggest week of the year this week. So did Royal.

I think the biggest problem with your team is the age factor; father time is catching up with Hasselback and Tomlinson and Steve Smith pretty quick. Palmer is always hurt. Bowe is on a ****ty team.

You know its a bit of luck too. Two weeks ago Brees was on a bye and I picked up Culpepper after turning down not 1, not 2, but 3 drunken trade offers involving Brees and or Slaton. Culp got me 45 points.

Actually we play this week so it would probably be in our best interest not to trade.. Let's review it after we play this week since I won't play you again until maybe the playoffs..
