This is just the worst ever. Sorry. Embo must go. I see no solution other than changing staff. But Embo won't go unless Bohn goes who won't go unless DiSteffano goes who won't go unless Benson goes who won't go unless................. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kill me.

I don't see Embo going anywhere. Especially when he seems to be playing ball with the Administration(PDS, MB). He'll axe a few AC's and earn another year.

I hate to think what would happen if he won three or four games next year. MB would probably give him an extension. :smile2:

Can we just have one thread about firing Embree? Do we really need 100 distinct threads saying essentially the same thing??

    Btw, like I've said, Embree's a goner.

short of Steve Spurrier and a few others, alumni hcoaches suck. Worst coach in CU history. That's what he'll be known for from now on. Sadly, nothing will change because this administration could care less.

DBT, of the many good battles I've enjoyed with you, I am somewhat sad that we're on the same page here. Yesterday in Chat, LtCol gave me his reason that RESIGN is the best option. I still disagree, but I completely understand his reason and am saddened, even more, that he might have the correct reason. I still think FIRING is the best option for both Embree's better future and Bohn's athletic department future.

Those points aside, we all saw a first-half of total incompetence. One team out-badding the other team. "Who can be the worst team?" seemed to be on display, possession after possession. It was so reminiscent of the Wash State game, too - "Who's going to have the superior Losing Effort?" And we knew Embree was going to do his best to lose. He tried - but Leach out-coached him up there.

This time, we knew that even a poor QB demonstration by UW's Price couldn't stop Embree from getting his losing efforts all lined up. Again, we just had to wait until his halftime adjustments kicked in before the opponent would once again score a lot of points.

Those halftime adjustments - what a great demonstration of what a staff can do. Can strip away.

Alumni coaches - don't forget the embarrassment that Gundy provided to Stillwater fans, too. And he's got a few more outbursts awaiting.

Yep. I loved how they yanked Connor Wood (2 picks I know) without giving him a real chance, yet they continue to put Webb in game after game when it is still on the line and we watch the inevitable slaughter. I swear, Webb must have some voodoo mind control on this staff, or they are simply so bad at evaluating their players they can't help it.

Buffed, I was watching "Wood" out there and thinking "Webb" or "Hirsh" the whole time because his passes were SOOO dead-armed and lame. I couldn't believe this was really Pastorini's evil strong-armed alien twin out there - in fact, I'm not sure the Aliens didn't yank out the Real Wood and install this limp-armed hot-air balloon blower instead!

WHAT A CONSPIRACY!! Even Elvis' Alien Friends are against Embree!! Wow.

But seriously - I'd seen Wood overthrow so many passes before - but I'd never seen those half-thrown gift-wrapped ducks flying around from HIS hand before.

Q: What kind of QB development does Embree have?!!
    A: The worst kind possible.

It's simply amazing. What kind of recruiting potential does THIS set of examples offer to prospects? "Come to Embree's CU - see how far your skills can deteriorate!"

Every competiting program will use that statement, too. What can Embree & Co use as a response? "We say it's not true but, OK, all the game examples of Doing directly contradict us."

Great. Just great. And yet there are forces that prefer to keep Embree doing this again and again to CU Football. It's time to think of the players and CU Football, and NOT some Favorite Son's ego.

Does Slider have another relative showing up on the board, this one makes as much sense as the last one did.
