Too bad, but hard to argue with some of the names on the list ... Deion Sanders, Eddie George, Russell Maryland, Jake Scott, Will Shields, Gene Washington ...

Coaches were Lloyd Carr from Michigan and Fisher DeBerry from Air Force. DeBerry was a miracle worker with the Falcons - much deserved.

Fisher is most deserving (though i'm not sure ahead of Mac), but Kenny Hatfield had some decent AFA teams and kind of "installed" the option there as i recall.

Mac is just a matter of time imo. Bienemy, i could see either way.

Lloyd Carr? Is this a joke? I never thought he was some great coach. Maybe the way Rich Rod flamed out puts him in a better light.

122-40, 1 national title (1997), 5 Big Ten titles (1997, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2004), AFCA Coach of the Year (1997), George Munger Award (1997), Paul "Bear" Bryant Award (1997), Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award (1997), Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year (2007). Pretty good stats to me.
