Mike Bohn's dilemma

Maxer,

We are working toward the private endowment thing in creative ways, too. Our home golf course is a private club and the hope is that it will eventually endow all scholarships and pay for the coaches.

Something similar could be done for other sports, particularly skiing and tennis.

Lots of opportunities out there.

The guy who owns Colorado National just purchased Fox Hill in Longmont. So now the CU golf team has two home courses.

Fantastic news. CU golf being consistently good and paying for itself would be great.

Between exposure on the Pac-12 Network, opportunities on Asian television, and the fundraising events at our home courses, it's very important for us to have solid Golf programs.

the fox hills members sold the course

Not exactly.

Fox Hill went into foreclosure. There wasn't a whole lot the members could do about it. They worked the best deal they could, though. In the end, it'll be a good fit all around, IMO.

When my kid played Gold Crown golf, he said the Fox Hill kids were little douchebags.

Of course my kid was a public course kid and they were "country clubbers." Well, you little douchebags! Your "country club" went bankrupt! HA!
