Missy Franklin (SPOILERS)

on the other hand if any of that were true, she would list DU on her list.

Maybe, but if CU had a program it would be competing in the PAC, DU competes at a lower level. Also CU is a major national level university, DU isn't.

Not saying that if CU had a respectable swimming program she would consider it but I think it is much more likely than considering a DU, CSU, or other local lower profile school.

if CU had a swim program she seems like the kind of kid that would stay home.

Quite possibly. I mean she is already an Olympic superstar, and pretty much a lock for Rio, regardless of where she goes to school. But I think her decision to drop Stanfurd from the running after their coach retired, says she is placing heavy emphasis on who she will train under. Which is why Cal, SC, and UGA make sense. Auburn, Florida, Texas also have some of the best staffs around.

That said, Colorado seems like the kind of school that would have a very competitive aquatics core. Especially now as a Pac school.
