173 points scored in first three games!:wow:

I actually see Mizzou as the only game we don't have a chance in. They are scarry good on O. Everybody else is beatable by the buffs IMO including WV, who Col. Slade is picking them to blow us out. Ya I'm sure slade picked Georgia 54 Buffs 3 and Oklahoma 49 Buffs 10.

Of course Slade is. He knows everything.

Mizzou is gonna kick our ass. Again.

Remind me of a kid shooting up a school after years of getting teased.

Crude analogy...yes...but damn. 173 points in 3 games. Thats intense dude

I wouldn't count CU out. If there's one thing the recent Buffaloes have specialized in - regardless of who the coach is - it's winning one game a season (or coming excruciatingly close to winning one game) that we have absolutely no business winning.

Missouri is the only game on our schedule this year that qualifies as a "we have no business competing in this one" contest, ergo I'm forced to call the upset a month and a half in advance of kickoff.

    Hell yes.

    yes, mizzou is sick good.

the only question is, can they get over the mental hurdle of the south? they have the talent to win but, can they believe enough to pull it off?

that, i think. is the biggest hurdle confronting the tigers.

they win those games.... then you have a tiger by its tail and you wont win.

I don't. They will underachieve like usuall without Vince Young. The CU/Texas game will be close.

ya OU's 164 aint **** is it...... and to think Sam Bradford has played almost 60 minutes less than what Chase Daniel has over 3 games, yet his stats are just as good or better than boogereaters.... not to mention that boogereater is 0-2 against Sam and OU....

We only have a hellacious schedule for still a very young team.

So, 8-4 isn't optimistic I guess? I've been called a sunshine pumper for less.

    You don't know me.

Mizzery is gonna beat everyone's ass this year, and that includes anyone in the south as well. I realize their D isn't that great, but I don't see anyone outside of USC being able to stop their offense this season. It's gonna be a great battle for second place in the north this season!

I tend to look at the bigger picture there Ripper.... say like Big XII Champioships and the Sooners recod in those 6 games.... :smile2:

your right I dont know, just as you dont know me. I would say 8-4 is very optimistic, but no where out of the question. I believe the Buffs can finish the season 8-4 too, guess I am very optimistic too, possibly 9-3, even more so, if they get a couple of lucky breaks here and there during the season.

Its just my belief Mizzou is not as good as OU and if they meet in KC the 1st Saturday in December, Chase will finish his college football career 0-4 against OU, not 1-3.....

No, I never said that why don't you stick that boot in your mouth?

Edit, nevermind, ya we did kick the living dog **** out of Oklahoma last year if I use your logic with husker fans. Hypocrite? Oh the irony:lol:

Yeah, the Mizzou game scares the fook out of me! I think Mizzou is definately going to beat that record of having not won at our house since 1960 something? I just want our guys to hit Chase "booger picking moron" Daniel a few times in the game and make him wonder when the next one is coming. I don't think there is anyway they don't win the Big XII this season, but OU looks scary good as well.

I agree about OU too. I think the Big 12 CCG will be a good one with these two. Anything can happen, but I would bet it will be OU and Mizzou.

Or how about the even bigger picture and the Sooners record in those last 4 BCS games?

Sorry, but I'll be rooting for the Tigers to beat you. I have had enough of OU embarrasing the Big 12 in a bowl game. At least Mizzou and Kansas could take care of their bowl opponents rather easily.

how is it a bigger picture looking since 2004 as opposed to the life of the b12 (1996)?

is this a male thing? thinking that bigger things come in smaller packages???

2001 was not that far removed from 2004. how did us buffs fare in our last bcs game? pride of the conference, huh?

Look, your cocky husband is spouting off about his sooners in a thread not even about them. OU has done it's share of embarasing the Big 12 lately. KU made it to a BCS bowl like OU and WON! Imagine that! Mizzou also dominated it's good bowl opponent.

This thread is not about the buffs or sooners, so again boot in the mouth, cause c-sker was right, you don't know what you're talking about.

to clarify, is your opinion that i do not know what i am talking about because i know that the time difference between 1996 is greater than the time difference since 2004? or is it because your slam with respect to bcs games also can be pinned on the buffs?

as for your lovefest with chusker, it was HE that brought the sooners into the thread. he said something about the sooners trip to the northwest. so it is not like my cocky husband started talking about them out of the blue, just to piss you off. on the topic of trying to piss people off, which are you the most upset about? that he is cocky and dares to defend his team when you said "scoreboard"? or that he has a point? or is it that he alone is "trying" to piss people off and your comments are angellic? or mundane?

in either case, i could care less if both you and chusker are little enough to get panties in a bunch for people batting opinions back and forth. did someone dub the two of you the grand poohbahs of cfb - complete with the singular right to determine whether or not someone knows anything about the topic? keen! if you would have let me know, i would have had my students making you a card of congratulations. :woot: for you.

wow, I am amazed. YES YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.

Tell me, was this before or after c-sker posted.

i am answering from the standpoint of when csuhusker brought the sooners onto the board. it was 4:04 yesterday. by my clock (which may be different than your big 12 clock) that would be about 7 hours before ubt continued talking about the sooners.

i will be the first to admit that ubt should have kept the sooner battle on the other thread. however, thanks to the knobfest buddy of yours, the first shot was fired, for better or worse.

if you do not like ubt's retorts mister "bigger picture", maybe you should not choose to poke a stick at him. he pokes back. insofar as understanding what a bigger picture is, he wins. 12 is a greater number than 4.

and a bcs loss is a bcs loss. thats okay. the huskers also represented well that year with a bcs loss. i guess that makes them suck ass?

Ever consider OU won't be in that game?

I know a hell of a lot of people who wish that so we don't have to witness another BCS meltdown. :smile2: (Unless of course you could play tOSU - then someone would have to win)
