Moving sackygate

Sorry to hear, sacky. We don't get any issues about being on the grass outside the B-school. I wonder if it's because you are next to dorms?

No - I don't think so. Their issues are as widspread because they have a big ole sidewalk to setup on. Our issue is that our tailgating spot is the front yard of a dorm

Well, we're going to set up on that same sidewalk, just a little ways West of where they are. We'll see if that makes a difference. The problem is that we can't just back the van up to the tailgate spot. There's a fence between the parking spot and where we'll be setting up. However, unless CU wants to mess with us some more, I think I have a work-around for this issue. There's a driveway that extends along the East side of the Music School that empties out where our parking lot is. If I can, I'll back the van up that driveway and drop off the tailgate gear, and then do the same thing when we get ready to go into the game. It's a ****** thing to have to deal with, and it pisses me off to no end, but it may wind up being OK in the long run.

As Hawkins was always fond of saying: "We'll see".

I actually looked at the price of franklin in the past ( I think it was $1100 at the time) in case I ever became a 1%er.

I believe there is also a wait list and you must have season tickets to have a spot in Franklin. And if weather is bad, you get moved down to Colorado & Regent.

Apparently it turned out the new concrete was for bike racks, not Sackygate....

It seemed a little bit weird that the university would create a sidewalk in order to accommodate a football tailgate, honestly.

This is not simply a football tailgate. This is SACKYGATE, mother****er!!!!!! :smile2:

Poor Sackman. He really, really thought CU turned a corner and had his best interests in mind.

Sheesh.

Those bike racks were put there for spite. No body ****s with the Chancellor. Phil's office just might believe Sackygate is the new 420 and add fishy smelling fertilizer in addition to the buggy driving cops.

Beware the invite to a Wycliffe Jean concert.

Sackygate II will be better than ever and when we get that new real deal coaching staff????? It will beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Lot 169 down between the practice field and Boulder Creek is a great place to tailgate and there is not ever an issue with the police. We have had a parking spot there for about 10 years and it has been great. Plenty of room, good people, cost is reasonable ($120 for the season) and it has never been closed that I know of.

$120 a season? I thought you had to be a Buff Club member at a certain donation level?

Powder Blue, Sacky? When Mike Bohn laughs last, Mike Bohn laughs best.

I admit I feel like a total fool for having thought that our complaining had produced the sidewalk. It wasn't just us doing the complaining, either. The group next to us was pissed, too. I still can't believe I was that naive. The next time the school does something to enhance the fan experience will be the first.
