1: Easily Cody's worst game of the year. I don't care how bad the blitz is coming, you've gotta be able to hit a wide open Fullback who was more covered by me, in Utah, than anyone in a Maroon Jersey. So many overthrown balls. And the one underthrown ball was picked off.
2: Special teams FAIL. Josh Smith's bad kickoff return resulting in a safety and a field goal on the ensuing possession, the kickoff return for the TD, and the 23 yrd missed chipshot field goal = 15 point swing.
3: Yikes, we're looking thin on O Line. I hope Miller's okay.
4: Defense was good up until the 2nd half. I felt like we should have tried to force them to pass by dropping a safety into the box after they decided they were never going to throw again. Our corners need to work on run stopping and QB contain. Florida St had way too much success running to the outside, and I expect Texas to do more of the same.
5: Let's head home and get a good win next week, and I think we're still in for a good season.
