nice work skidmark
But it's not better than TuffTiger's one about being tough as rain.
i passed it along to Hugh (via myspace)....i hope he reads it, takes it to heart and passes it along!
geat post. never thought anybody could top a 96Buff post:smile2:
Please. I'm a horrible poster, although at least I'm not a girl. :smile2:
i also passed it along to byron ellis and stephone robinson (again via myspace)
You are an awesome poster. Right to the point always...
Great post - pass it on the the media??
Why, so they can somehow change the context by mis-quoting and make it look like us horrible internet posters hate the team? The team knows we love 'em (I hope!).
Last time I checked, the media generally prefers salacious dirty laundary such as the Simpson title 9 circus over stories of CU players overcoming adversity that is of the media's own making.
Somehow I don't see Rick Reilly eating crow and telling the world how this group of seniors no longer makes him ashamed of his class ring. Even if he did say such a thing, it would probably come off as cynical self-serving pandering.
If the Denver Post and RMS are going to fail to cover Dizon's Butkus nomination with any enthusiasm, I seriously doubt the big paper reporters or editors have the moral fortitude to say, "sorry for running down the program. It must have sucked to be called rapists eventhough nobody was ever charged, but we have papers to sell. Next time we'll check our facts. My bad."
Good work, Skidmark.
They put up with more difficult times than many before them. Hopefully those behind them never have to experience such things. They have all risen above it.
They are all appreciated and are all Buffs-for-Life.
nice post. Execpt for the part about "soaring into the 2005 CCG". We didn't deserve to be in that game. We were there because of some freak wins by other teams, and we were on a two game losing skid .
Good post Skid.
It's how you spell **** you. It's how you spell it and the context of it. Phuck You.
