the new stadium lights were pretty snappy.
the weather was good and thats all! that kick looked good, though...too bad he will be our only scorer this year as it looks. Lets go O, where you at?
great student turn out before kick off....course that's the last time that happens after a loss like that
I thought our Dance Squad was much improved over years past.
As mentioned, the new lighting was nice. No shadows on the field.
My hot dog was cooked to perfection.
A very pleasant, slightly cool breeze rolled in midway through the 1st quarter. Quite refreshing.
I thought there was no way he makes that kick. I was totally expecting him to catch it and punt it actually. Great kick!
I was a bit of a doubter after last year's performance. Goodman looked good, his KOs were actually very nice as well as the FG. Nice turnaround performance.
Damn straight Goodman looked sharp. When the O'Jays write a song about you, you've got some talent.
I was cussing at the TV to Hawk saying, my god what an idot. This guy ain't going to make the kick. The guy couldn't make a FG from 40 yards last year why kick a 55 yarder? .. :smile2:
Well, Goodman improve, but apparently the rest of the team cant?
That was an awesome kick.
Goodman did play well. He's not the second coming of Mason Crosby, but he obviously has some very good leg strength.
Positives ? I got nothin'. Another trip to Boulder another beatdown. This is getting old. If I didn't already have my plane tix for Kansas I wouldn't be back this season.
One positive is that the team didn't give up. They kept playing trying to do something until the end.
It was nice to see Simmon's catch a deep ball.
14 yards = deep?
Umm the one before our first TD was way more than 14 yards. Try multipling 14 times 3 and then adding 2.
I can remember at least once thinking they need better lighting as the shadows showed up.
See... he really is a good coach:huh:
I think they would have had to offer a refund if they didn't keep playing after they were beat.:smile2:
Some more bright spots:
-More CU gear availble in the clearance section
-Sympathy or indifference by fans in Morgantown, Austin and Stillwater
-CSU only bought an allotment of 3,000 tickets instead of 5,000, and it still was a sell-out.
-Denver media can use the "restore order" theme to draw CU fans back into Invesco next year.
-CU is in control of their destiny in B12 play, and mathmatically remains in contention for a BCS bowl
