So what bowl is the national championship??
It's not the Sugar even though it is being played in New Orleans.

If they can establish a national championship game outside of the bowl alliance then why not a playoff??

Georgia and USC would still be playing that's for sure.
Final four the Dawgs, Trojans, Tigers and Buckeyes UPICKEM!
 
The BCS added a 5th bowl last year... the BCS National Championship game, and instead of the bowls switching off being the NC game, they added an extra bowl, still sanctioned by the BCS.
 
There's a +1 system. It'll be held at the same location where the Sugar Bowl was held at, but it rotates every year, just like it did before.
 
Sweet for New Orleans that they managed to wrangle two huge games in the span of one week
