    Wisconsin 63, Indiana 7

Coach Bradical, in search of offense and "style" points, pulled an ineffective and flaccid QB Curt Phillips (1-5, 20 yds, 0 TD/2 INT, 5 car 27 yds, 2 fumb) and Wisconsin separated from Indiana behind veteran backup Scott Tolzein (14-29, 264 yds, 2 TDs/1 INT; 7 car, 104 yds, 1 TD). RB John Clay had a quiet 210 yds rushing and 3 TDs to go over the 2,000 yard mark (2,088 rush/456 rec; 33 total TDs), and also answered the question "Will he ever fumble?" with 2.

Another set of questions for those more experienced with recruiting...

Do I need to worry about recruiting # limits. What if I get too many commitments?

Also, what if I break my promises?

And finally, is it ok to cut kids? How does that work? What if I cut a recruit that I had given a scholarship to?

    Thanks.

You can always cut incoming freshman if your roster is too big, or cut returning players to make room for a big class (during the offseason). Sign first, worry later.

Not sure exactly what happens when you break a promise, but I would imagine you at least risk that player transferring and/or a drop in your coach prestige

Cut players stage happens in the offseason, you will be required to do this after such stages like 'Offseason Recruiting' and 'Players Leaving' and so forth. Your roster size will eventually need to be 72.

Yeah just get as much talent on the roster as you can now, because you can trim the fat later (before next season starts). And it's a pretty awesome feeling jettisoning the sh!tty players off your roster.

Recruiting is more or less wrapped for Arkansas for now. Currently ranked wirh a #7 class and a few 3* stragglers due in a few weels. I'm idle and done for the week. Getting healthy for the end run. Wish I had less bye weeks, hard for me to win trophies with few games!

It's me. And I have no clue. I have no time during the week because of evening commitments and my father is in town this weekend. So maybe Saturday evening or sometime Sunday? If that's too late, just sim me because there is zero chance of getting on tonight, tomorrow or Friday for me. Sorry.

Sorry everyone, I've got another newbie question. I try googling this stuff but can't find any answers.

How much can I expect (how many overall points) my players to improve year to year? Also, does red shirting them typically give more improvement, and if so, how much?

Red shirting does not give more improvement, it just gives them another year of improvement. Do it whenever possible, even tho online dynasties are often not as long as offline ones.

They can improve anywhere from 0 to 6 points. I once had a kicker go like 8 or 10 (castor, believe it or not) in one year. That is rare. They will not get bigger (250 DE's or DT's do NOT go up to 300, they only gain about 5/year at most... not sure if it matters tho). But on average, definitely expect 3 points/year.

Wow.. That sucks. So if I have players at less than 70 there is really no hope that they will ever be elite?

pretty much, ya. 80 is a "good" player tho. and you can get quite a few mid 70's and higher from 3 star athletes. But a mid 60's guy could definitely bein the 80's by the RS JR year. Just gotta get lucky on the roll of the dice.

Hey Fight! Sorry I missed this yesterday. As I projected earlier last week, I knew this was gonna be terrible for me schedule-wise. Figures I'd have a human opponent this week. Does tonight work? My team sucks so I will take the automatic L if it helps out everyone else. Sorry for dragging this week out! :(
