Is Threet the really tall young QB, or the incumbent? Either way, here's hoping that your QBs do well in the offseason and come back much improved. I've had to shuffle my QBs quite a bit this season as well, I need my Soph. QB to make a leap next season.

Threet is the junior who was at Michigan but transferred because RichRod's offense wasn't going to work for him. He's a good QB, but when he blows up, it's horrible. He either makes big passes or disastrous mistakes. Osweiler is the tall young QB. I should probably just switch to him full-time in preparation for the future, but he's really slow. I feel like I don't have options.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting into next season and getting my young recruits some time. I think I've recruited fairly well considering the season itself.

buffnut can you tell me the W/L record for North Carolina, Iowa, and Oregon. Would all those teams be available and not 5 * prestige

It's still telling me that you don't have "an EA account."

I think you need to activate you "Online Pass" or whatever it's called. Just start up the game and it should force you to activate it right away, or after you start doing any of the online stuff. Let me know when that's done and I can invite you, we'll talk teams then.

    Wisconsin 59, Michigan 14

The Wolverines led 14-8 early, but the Big House watched Wisconsin reel off 52 unanswered points and 718 yards of offense to win in a rout. An unimpressed Coach Bradical opined "We should have had 80 points," as he lamented the 3 red zone turnovers committed by the Badgers. Michigan had (-2) yards rushing.

    Boise - 38 Fresno - 10. Held Fresno to 0 yds rushing.

You guys are talking about getting your recruits playing time. Will players gain more skill if they get action in games?

I don't think this is a known quantity. I know SnowBuff thinks that players grow at the same pace whether you redshirt them or not, and that the offseason ratings increases are random, but I am of the belief that players grow a little more when they redshirt. I can't quantify or qualify that though.

Nut, your offense is disgusting man. Got a finely tuned machine there. Where you pick it up from?

I guess my question is whether backups will get better if you put them in the game so that they get game experience. So, if I've got a RS Jr who is equal in all respects to a Senior, should I be playing the RS Junior so that he will get game experience and get better than if he was just sitting on the bench as a backup? Does that make sense?

I think that playing time does help some players... you will see little +1s here and there during the season that are permanent, and seem to favor players of yours who have a good game or who are on a hot streak. I don't think that non-redshirt players benefit at all from simply sitting on the bench.

I changed my scheme after my 2nd loss, both offensively and defensively. I also finally found a QB (I think) after literally playing two guys off and on for 7 games. Yes, my offense is going to finish with +1,000 more yards than anyone else in the Dynasty.

Now that I'm actually paying more attention to this game, small things are coming up all the time for me. So thanks for the responses.

Here's another little thing: Last night when I was playing Erin Andrews kept coming on telling me that they had taken a player to the lockeroom for x rays, or that someone had a bruised sternum, or whatever else. That's fine and good, but why doesn't it notify me when a player is actually hurt? Plus, she doesn't say WHICH player or even which team. How do I know when a player is hurt and which player it is following the play during which he was injured?

If you're hurrying to the line or if you're hurrying through the play calling screen you'll miss the notifications.

First of all, anyone who is injured, even for one play, will stay down on the ground after the play. The more serious injuries have a little sequence where you see the guy getting some medical attention on the field. Usually two plays after someone is hurt (as long as you're not hurrying), you'll get an injury prognosis on the bottom of the screen, right above the score/down & distance banner.

also, the injured player won't be on the field for a few plays, and the game will ask you (if the injury isn't serious) if you want to rest the player for a few more plays....

I guess I just rush to quickly to the play calling screen so that I can have all the allotted time to pick a play. I've had times when I had no idea my RB was hurt and only found out after I called a running play and saw some weirdo lined up in the backfield.

Also, if you pause the game and go to Strategy --> Injury Report, they have an immediate and final diagnosis and prognosis (instant MRIs)

Good to be back. I'm playing as UNC and they are STACKED at D. I have backups ranked in the 90's:wow: Too bad they simmed at 4-5 but I won 21-0 vs NCST so I will still probably make a bowl game.

In recruiting a have 2 4* QB, and a 4* S, DT, and two more. It looks like I am going to have to fill out the rest of my class with three stars. Shoulda joined at the beginning of the season:nod:

Why is Nevada ranked ahead of me in conference when I'm 9 -1 (to their 8 - 1) overall and 6 - 0 (to their 5 - 0) in conference? ****ing Bull****.
