Inexplicably, the (real-life) CU/Cal game was on TV in Boston on Saturday (at the same time as the AFA game and the Rapids game, no less).

They had a camera up on Tightwad Hill, which made me smile.

    Anyways:

What a DISASTER of a football team.

Two questions: how the f-ck did Hawkins make Boise State so good? and how badly do you think he wishes he was still there?

"Tightwad Hill" was the only source of laughter on Saturday.

The current head coach at Boise (Chris Petersen) is/was the secret to their success, and made Hawk look good as his O-Coordinator. Hawk really, really wishes he was still there, as evidenced by his continual throwing CU under the bus (he was quoted Saturday as saying "I never knew until I got here [in 2006] how hard it was to win here in Boulder" - even though CU was successful for years before he got here). Read the main football forum to get a sense of where the fanbase is at (torch wielding mob at this point).

For those of you who don't know, I am BuffNut's (older, taller, cooler) brother.

So anyway, on Saturday it's 24-7 or whatever and we get the ball right before halftime. I pick up my phone to text BuffNut and type in "BUFFS ARE RUNNING LIKE A WELL-OILED MACHINE" but do NOT hit the send button (I want to make sure they don't score a miracle TD before halftime). Well Hanson left-arms that embarrassing f-cking pick-six and I hit send before the Cal LB lands in the end zone. It was kind of funny.

Tying this back to NCAA video football, the one thing that the game has taught me is to never take unnecessary chances in your own territory late in the second quarter. Which means that a lot of actual football coaches -- namely Hawkins and Wade Phillips -- should be playing a lot more 360.

That text was more a kick to the nuts than funny - by the way, the 2nd half finished exactly the same way, only CU was about to score

Back to NCAA 2010, I raped Michigan State 57-13, it was not that close

New Mexico State won the time of possession battle.

Boise State won the game. 77 - 0.

Plz get your game in today/tonight - I want to advance around 9pm MDT

I got your msg about having probs getting game in - I've had that problem before, I think its an EA thing, bad luck as far as timing, server issues. Keep trying or tell me to sim you.
