I sort of backed into this QB that I got but he's pretty good for a 3 star - I'm going to end up signing (and likely cutting) alot of 3 stars

Beat Oklahoma 33-28 which will have some Natl Title implications. Game wasn't as close as the score shows. I was up by I believe 18 points in the 4th Q and put my back-ups in which got manhandled. Either way good win against a superior opponent

A ? for you guys. Does quality play from a previous season actually impact the rating increase during off-season drills the next year. So would Boise's 69 WR take an exponential leap in ratings for his stellar play? Or does it make little difference? Basically I'm wondering if doing mass-subs is actually worth it

I was under the impression that it made no difference. I didn't know i should be subbing in my scrubs.

I'm not sure about differences in off-season improvements, sorry - my hunch is that they are mostly random but I could be wrong. Redshirted players do sometimes improve during the season that they are sitting out. I've heard that each recruit, regardless of stars, has a hidden rating that determines how much they can improve year-to-year.

Also, it is rare (I just found my first without knowing where to look), but look for the pink diamonds above the shoulders of pics of recruits faces in the "more info" screen (can't be seen in online recruiting). These guys are "diamonds in the rough" and you will jump into their top 10 immediately if you add them and call them (they are always 4 or 5 star players who do not have you as a favorite) - but the icon will only be there on a given week, it will go away if you don't pursue it. Padlock icon means that some of the pitches were randomly unlocked for you, x2 bonus, is well, x2. I think you only get one per week (padlock, x2, pink diamond).

I was wondering what that pink diamond was I had seen it previously. So I think it's fair to say that mass-subbing is unnecessary but either way I get a glimpse of the future when playing them

So it puts you in their top 10? But unless you're near the top and it's late in the season, you don't really have much of a chance anyway, right?

Anyone know how many 'points' you usually get for the official visits?

Arky wins 42-35. Difference in the game was that I converted a fake field goal for a td on the only drive where I failed to convert a 3d down. Was up 14 at that point, and held that lead until pimp made a furious comeback successfully executing an onside kick. However in the end he stalled. Sec championship and bcs bowl here I come!
