Because EA has no idea how college football really works
also, cause people like Flounder would vote for themselves. Or me.
One vote doesn't mean much.
They do need to rework recruiting and make it possible to upgrade facilities/stadium with success. Add in conference payouts and ****.
Oh and also make it so it works running off tackle in the shotgun
also blocking for the power/speed option. Half the time the WR's just ignore their blocks. Drives me insane. Oh ya, also the fact that linemen refuse to run downfield on power off tackle plays.
It does for me on the PS3 platform. facilities and atmosphere have both improved on my personal dynasty playing CU and online with Pitt.
Like physically add upgrades to your stadium. Better boards, seating, etc. That'd be tough to do (I think) but that was pretty awesome to do in Madden 04 I think it was.
Ah! I see now.
I have yet to notice any significant gameplay differences in the game since 06 when I started buying it. Maybe this year where it's super easy to throw down the sideline when it was easy to throw between the hashmarks in earlier games
I have never completed a bomb down the sideline. How do you do it?
I usually get a couple a game. The secret is to look for press coverage and hope your guy beats it.
I'm pretty sure you could run 4 Verticals vs teh computer for 4 straight downs and the chances a WR gets passed the secondary for a bomb TD is nearly 100% (vs the CPU of course)
Calling a 4 WR streak play against cover 2 zone defense does it too.
edit: slider beat me to it
bah. the comp loves to cheat with 4 verts and audible to a play that owns it. Doesn't help my QB has a weak arm and my WR's all suck
A poor craftsman blames his tools.
I can complain all I want - I'm undefeated
There are some money plays in 3 wideout sets, we're wr's cross up the corners and they are wide open.
I just get sacked immediately when I try to throw deep.
Here are some tricks:
1. Before the play pick a player and look at him first scan the field and than back to the guy. Make a system of who you look at first.
2. Do not drop back really far. A lot of people do this with out knowing. I used to do it and I didn't even realize it. When you snap, you automatically take either a 3/5/7 step drop back. If you drop back too far the DE will smack you. Stay in the pocket.
3. If you are still getting sacked pull left trigger and hit pinch o-line.
4. Look for match ups.
5. When in doubt chuck it up to you best WR. But make sure you step into your throw so you lead the WR.
5 1/2. ALWAYS LEAD YOUR WR. It will greatly reduce interceptions by corner.
Also, play action (if you can get pass off before sack) can make the safeties bite and your WR will be 10-20 yards behind the D. Doesn't work every time but if you've established the run, the CPU will start to give up the deep ball in alot of different ways (some mentioned above).
Yes. I remember being able to upgrade the stadium, that was actually pretty cool. I think if EA could do something where you can make a better stadium or facilities and have it effect training points, recruits.
But overall I like the game play, still has a few glitches though. I hate when the option is ran and the CB or S will just freeze up or even the WR.
Also, the online site is basically unusable. If you enjoy losing recruiting time, I would highly recommend going online.
Yeah. That is so annoying. Also, you can't get the actual recruiting #'s online (you just see the bars).
