Here's a lengthy, but interesting article on the history of Manziel's family, going back a few generations. The general story everyone knows is that Manziel comes from an oil fortune so he doesn't really need the money. Well, how they got that oil fortune is a pretty crazy story with plenty of shady dealings over the years, and in the end it's unclear how much of that fortune is actually getting to Johnny Football and his parents.
