All of these regent threads focus on their attitudes towards athletics. That's nice and all, but really doesn't mean anything. As long as the admin has done their homework, the regents will rubber stamp whatever the admin brings to them, unless it's completely whack, in which case they may think about it.
It's nice to know what their feelings on athletics are, but if you want change, the question you SHOULD be asking is if they support Benson. Support for athletics and support for Benson are independent variables. People need to focus on replacing the regents who support Benson, and if they also support athletics, even better.
Once Benson is out, THEN focus on pushing an athletic friendly president to the regents.
