but we’ve declared it “Neill Woelk Day” in the Fred Casotti Press Box, as the veteran
sportswriter for the Boulder Daily Camera is leaving the paper after 30 years at the end of the month to take over the managing editor duties of the
Hermiston (Ore.) Herald

I have read his stuff for about a decade and he was a pretty good one.

This Saturday will be bittersweet since we will be saying farewell to a wonderful SR class including Cody Hawkins, the Big 12 conference, and Neil Woelk.

Best of luck to Neill.

i remember Neill working for Dan Creedon in the old Daily Camera days. Before the Knight-ridders of the world, it was pretty good sports page. Neill has been screwing the pooch for 5 or more years IMO. i have no personal enmity for the guy.

see ya, NW.

That place is far, far away from Oregon football.

It's be like taking a job at the Lamar Democrat.
He's going to make next to nothing.
