Craziest thing about this year is how veteran this team is. I doubt we'll never see another CU team that has four 5th year seniors. That's almost unheard of in hoops.

White was a crucial pickup. Could even be a masterstroke.

I like this team to be well into the 20s come Selection Sunday. If we stay healthy, we've got to at least win a game in the Dance by giving ourselves a decent seed. With XJ back, we've got things in place. It's time to capitalize. Cannot do the one and done routine again unless the injury bug hits or we get an absurd first round game. We're due for a better break after getting a ridiculously dangerous UConn last year. For me, this is one of those years of, if not now, when?

That's where I'm at. Both the talent and the experience are there. The only unknowns are White and the freshmen, and even if the hype falls short on them we still have a good team that is capable of making the Dance. If the hype is true you have to believe this will be a special team. The biggest pickup of the offseason may not be White, but Coach Grier. We've already seen an uptick in recruiting since he was hired, and it will be interesting to see what influence he can have on game day. The dude can coach.

The stars just seem to be aligning
