While I don't think they've been horrible, they haven't been lighting it up. That's for sure.

I agree but why are the defensive coaches not mentioned?
It's not like cu played great vs FSU,wake held them to what 3-6 points and they score 39 vs us?
Kansas game, our db's are playing 10-15 yds off the ball,we still struggle to get any pressure on the qb and our run defense is not near as good as i'd thought it would be.
Kansas rb had career high vs us and if we can't start stopping teams to under 100 yds per game,then these one dimensional teams we play will light up the scoreboard.
No reason for our front 7 to make every rb look like earl campbell.
Also, this is a very poor tackling team .
That's true, but for the most part the D has put us in a position to win, but the offense couldnt capitalize. D also won the game for us against EWU. The D also kept WVU from winning in regulation and overtime when the O couldnt score crap for 3 qtrs.
Overall, I am much more pleased with the D's playing than any other aspect of the team.

Our offense really needs to get it together and win on Saturday or CU is in for a loooooong season, particularly with questions regarding DS, the QB situation, coaching, etc...
The drama and the questions will go away if the team starts winning again. Finish 7-5 and people will be ecstatic. Fail to make a bowl game and there will be questions to answered.
