No Baylor TV coverage?

I have thought for years that CU should create a gameday web based tv broad cast done entirely by broadcast journalism students. They wouldn't accept any advertising and would be completely put on by amatures. I don't see how this would interfere with the conference contract.

From an education perspective, that makes perfect sense.
Too bad it will never happen.
This is Division I Football, this isn't intramurals, brotha'!

Because if they're putting it out there for free and they're charging for it, then they'd undercut the rights holder.

I think if it is a credit class and that it is only broadcast from the CU website it shouldn't affect the networks. If there is a legitimate right holder broadcasting the game, I would think the professionals would get the majority of the viewing audience.

I also think that an entirely broadcast journalism class should do the radio on the CU radio station. It could actually be done in conjunction with KOA as a mentor program. I imagine most students would tune in but just about everyone else would listen to KOA.
