this article was in my very first issue of my first subscription to SI. It was quite an eye-opener for a 9 year old. Fairbanks' $40,000 office looked pretty sweet though. I'm sure he enjoyed drinking his morning Scotch in there.

Those were some dark times from the Orange Bowl to the gutter. I remember that Indiana game, their QB threw 5 or 6 TD passes - coached by none other than Lee Corso.
