Non-biased opinion of the buffs from a husker

I think everyone is pretty much on point here. I do think EB has done a masterful job the last two games. Our timing and tempo was off against CSU, but I liked almost every play call.

I agree. Playcalling has been pretty darn good. Well done Scooter.
 
Along the same lines, I think the number one thing we have to fix is overpursuit on the blitz. That has cost us about six tuddies this year.
 
As bad as CSU probably is, this was a good step forward. We finally showed some decent run blocking. The passing game worked with people other than just Richardson. I thought Tyler looked very good and made a phenomenal throw to Cefalo. The defense also settled in and did a nice job. And yes that 10 minute drive was just what the doctor ordered.

The next step forward needs to be the elimination of personal foul and other penalties. The penalty hangover has been long as we had this under both Barnett and D2.
