Nov. 16

This may be the saddest part after today's beatdown ... the Nov. 16 game vs. Cal is our next chance to at least be competitive, after what will likely be 4 demoralizing routs. I would have felt better if we had shown up today, but now ...

As negative as I've been, I hold out hope for U$C as a WTF win as long as Kiffin is still there.

Need to add another winnable game, whether it be Oct. 19 or Dec. 7. I don't give a **** who it is, just add it. When we're selling improvement and say "well, we've gone from taking over a 1-11 team to 4-8 to...yada yada", it's not like recruits are going to be analyzing our SOS. This program needs to experience winning, and badly.

We ARE better than last year, despite some flashbacks this game showed. MacIntyre went 1-12 his first year at SJSU. It's football, it takes serious rebuilding to fix a mess like this. We're going to prove to be competitive in some games this year and we're going to get a Pac-12 win. Those seriously holding out hope for a 6 or 7 win season were bound to come crashing down hard.
