Damn, is shaun watson back as OC? This dink and dunk crap is sickening. You have speed at wr, USE IT ! Josh smith celestine and williams are being wasted as well as our speed.

The running game sucks out of the shotgun. Then when we do get an 8 yd run, we abandon it for 2-3 straight 3 yd passes.

Our OL need to wake up and start knocking people on their ass, this shotgun so far looks like a cluster f#$K.

Smith was getting doubled over the top all game.

Pat Williams had a huge catch, which was (wait for it) DEEP!

Sorry we can't have a throw 10+ yards every play, but when we don't throw we run for 10+ yards kind of offense.

    Realist thank you.

You were at the game? Were you one of the many that came with their kids mis informed and not wearing any CU crap at all?

That defensive line was either good, or our offensive line sucked. He didn't have time to make his reads, or wait for plays to develop.

And no **** we didn't run for 10 yards every play, it was sarcasm, douche.

NO play is going to work if your O-line isn't doing jack. Which, is what it sounds like. D scott should not be having to break his first tackle in our own backfield.

Well douche, the OL has been bragged about how great they are, where is it? OH, sarcasm, you are funny.

Same old BS, no posting non-sunshine after cu gamses.

I'm sorry, that was just me being sarcastic.

You are one of the most irrational posters here, so this coming from you is really not surprising.

But its okay, keep complaining about winning by 7 and allowing 6 points total in the second half in 2 games.

    Just remember to cut vertically!

Yep, i'm irrational to think in year 3, with all this new speed and talent that we could actually go out and beat a div2 team by more than an INT return in the final minutes.

The defense played great, my beef is with helfrich and the OL.

You hate any criticism, maybe you're the one who should cut himself.

Keep bashing the passionate fans who give a damn, you're a bright one.

You obviously are so stuck in your tunnel vision you didn't see my post griping on the game.

Passionate, I guess that's what you call it. I call it borderline emo/school girl.

:yeahthat: I thought the o-line would be the biggest difference in our favor today. Instead, they very nearly cost us the game. :wtf:

Tough to throw deep with Cody getting no time to throw. Tough to pound the running game (what I wanted to see today) with RBs dodging tacklers the second they take a handoff.

I only hope that the OL was suffering from suspensions today. If not, we're ****ed.

Step away from the cliff bigboy and enjoy the moment...

    We won, We didn't lose.

Think how sh!TTy that would have felt.

Now breath deeply and slowly and repeat 10 times, 'the world is a good - CU won'... :wow:

    :yeahthat:

That sounds like the gist of it. If you're weak in the trenches, I don't care how good your skill-position players are. Just ask Clemson.

Stick your head back in the sand,if you're going to HYPE these players and coaches, don't act like a emo/schoolgirl when they don't produce and criticism comes their way.

Scott has 93 yards on 24 rushes and over 120 Total Purpose yards, and had an "okay" game today with how bad our offensive line played without one of the regular guards.

Okay, guess that's not really producing.

Maybe my expectaations out of the gate are too high. I know we've got some young guys but I thought we would be running the ball with much more authority with scott, speedy etc...

Solder and miller played very well vs csu, they did not look good today. Scott shouldn't be breaking tackles 3 yds behind the LOS.

Maybe i'm expecting too much too soon, just thought the offense would be more fluid at this time.

Now, the defense has been a NICE suprise, very nice. To hold their offense to basically 10pts today says alot.

I'm not hyping anyone. I'm just placing blame where it belongs for this game which is on the O-line, not the running backs or the play calling.

These guys' edge rushers were faster than CSU, it's a learning experience.

    Much faster, by the way....

Would it be fair to say that these guys would hang 45+ on the lammies?

Anyway, we have 2 weeks to work out the kinks and geer, head, will be back, maybe espinosa.

I think geer will help some.

    Sorry for the ranting.

Just about. Although their spread is very different, they rely on 3 yard slants alot, and get YAC. They hit the seams of the defense very well.

They brought the heat, and their line was big and athletic.

omg no kidding. but clearly he feels he is the lone passionate buff fan.

yeah, syko, i am all about sunshine. i like to look at the possibilities and the silver linings. i find that it has health benefits, as i have not eaten a hole in my freeking stomach. do you need some tums or a stronger prescription? i'm sure we can deliver the former in a nice buff bottle with a "from hawkins with love" bow on it.

It's great that you look for those things, your passion is no less than mine ,never said that. I am getting more negative yearly, don't know why.

Maybe because i'm moving to washington state in 2 weeks. Maybe it's because I turned 41 today. Maybe it's because I have an autistic son who I worry about daily. Maybe it's because I'm no longer in to hype and into results.

None the less, it's great to have positive people like you out there to give us negative ninnies some hope:smile2:

I wish I had your patience, you must have talked with my wife recently:lol:

Well, LB actually DID talk to your wife, but seeing that you are a Buff fan, she very politely declined to lend your wife the ski boot.:smile2:

i don't know what to say. my heart goes out to you that you are feeling the weight of the world on you right now. still, if you are viewing the buffs through the spectacles of what is going on in your life right now, you are placing a seriously unfair burden on them. they are not your performing monkeys.

as for what is going down for you: 41 is not old. people older than you are active and enjoying life. as for an autistic son, there are people on this board who have been denied the joys of parenthood, and would welcome a child exactly as they are. an autistic child does not mean life is over. there is every reason to believe that you little one will find every happiness - everyone was born to do something. his talents are simply a little more hidden than others. it is your joy and his to find out what makes him tick. best of luck. life is 20% what happens to you and 80% what you make of it.

    troo dat. troo.

No more bull**** excuses about keeping it close to the vest from here on out. They have over a week to come up with an innovative gameplan for WVU, they better use that time wisely.
