How we're 9 point favs with our QB situation and road woes is mind boggling. But, KU is 112th nat'l in rush D (at 210 ypg) so if we can't run the ball against them...

KU scores a on a pick 6. CU's defense holds KU to 12 total yards all game, and force 4 turn overs. We're still losing going into halftime.
CU scores a TD on the opening drive of the second half and goes for 2 (misses). We kick the game winning field goal when it bounces off both uprights and the crossbar but somehow goes in. Near the end of the game, some walk on punter kicks a 46 yarder that "seals the win." We give him a schollie. We get some kind of award for having 23 kickers on scholarship. We extend Hawkins for 4 more years because we dominated in time of possession.

boring, sloppy game riddled with penalties. Mick Ronson will complain in game chat about 3rd down Mark Johnson calls like this. "Hawkins throws.....ball is caught by Jefferson out of the backfield....no, it's Clemons....wow, Zim, that was a nice throw and catch by Cody and Clemons. looked like Clemons had the ball in one hand, juggled it a bit and then trapped in against his body on the way to the turf with the other hand. Two Jayhawk defenders draped across his shoulder pads. Cody caught the snap facemask high, took a step to the right to avoid pressure and rifled the ball to the sideline and Clemons held on in a pile of Jayhawks. and it's a 1st down for Colorado!".

While in Egypt, I continue to support the team with my Buff colored head gear but I still think we lose the sissy fight 13-7
 
I really think the Buffs are tired hearing about their road record and get their 1st conf win.
