CU makes a stand to defend home turf. Relying on seeing a turnover filled game in our favor. Buffs 36 Cats 31
We need some fumbles out of Carey and a pick or two. A bit of a cat nap....
I don't think we should expect to score in the 30's yet with Sefo making his second start. Our chance to win is by containing their run game, and forcing Denker to throw. Win a low scoring game 24-23 or something.
Big win last week put me back on the Koolaid:
Cu 21 / ua 48
F IT, CU 41 Arizona 40
Zona 52 CU 28
Cu - 24
ua - 44
41 - 24 Az
generic Wildcat's 36
Ua - 41 ----- cu - 27
I think CU is gonna get this one
BUFFS - 10
catz - 38
Defense has not proven they can stop anyone.
catz defense is #1 in country at interceptions and touchdowns on defense. why is it every team we play has some kind of #1 record?
cuz the pac-12 is very good.
Not sure why but I just feel like this will be a dog fight, with both teams heavily relying on the running game. The Buffs, behind the running of Adkins and Powell, outlast AZ 21-17. CUD, Gillam, and Webb (with the corners coming up to make some plays) limit Carey to 2tds and 110yds.
Arizona's Defense is much improved this year, and until proven otherwise we can't hang with a Pac-12 team. Sefo comes back down to earth and we have a little QB controversy brewing, at least on the iterwebz
Our freshman QB on a big stage against the #1 pass defense in the country. A DL that practices against Carey all week. = me worried. We might see Wood before the night is over?
The only controversy is whether or not we should have burned his RS. There is not controversy as to who should be starting now. It is sefo the rest of the year unless he gets injured.
now I am reading the best two defensive players for az are not playing? This is great news if it is true. Might have to adjust my prediction?
