Official Games Thread - Men vs Oregon, Women vs Cal

Ski-jump!

Pretty good one. Is that original?

Oregon got about seven offensive boards on the last few possessions.

CU not having much luck with the 3-ball. Going to have to start hitting those. This game seems eerily like the last game in oregon. Hopefully cu doesn't have another 18-3 run out on them.

Playing great defense, just need to rebound better and hit those open 3's.

Fortunate to have the lead at halftime.

34-33.

I'll take it.

Need to take care of the defensive glass in the 2nd half.

I'll take the 34-33 lead, but those last couple minutes were downright bad. We need to calm down and run the offense and get back to being aggressive

Edit: And that NBA 3 by Andre with 33 seconds left on the shotclock was utterly unacceptable.

Leading by 1 at half.

2nd half, REBOUND, hit open shots and cut down on the turnovers.

Bobby Knight has nothing on me...

Those last two minutes sucked, but Oregon didn't take advantage.

Tunks stunk. (That's a palindrome. Well, not really. Maybe an acronyn. Or a psuedonym. Or maybe it's not anything, but it should be.)

It's an anagram...

Turnovers are even and we're shooting better (51.7% to 37.8%). The reason we don't have a nice lead is rebounding. Oregon's up 21-12, including 11 to 1 on the offensive glass. That's given them 8 more shots than we've taken.

Well chances are we don't shoot 52% in the second half so we better get some more boards. They need to stay agressive in their offense too. In the second half of the last game with Oregon they stopped moving. They became a little complacent.

Take care of the defensive glass and we're up by 10. Other than that good half. Need to keep it up on defense, and start hitting the some 3's. Love the effort so far!

Roberson has got to get those boards. Everything else reamins steady, we'll be fine. Somebody on this team has got to step-up, or we're toast.

And now they change up the officiating style. Why can't they keep it consistent?

Gotta stay aggressive and go up strong. SHT, you can't go up like a pussy, it just isn't going to work.

Agree with Shane needing to go up strong, but I also liked that he showed the drop step when he felt the guy on his left hip. He didn't have that move earlier this year. He's now got a counter off the little hook shot runner. It's not there yet, but we're seeing progress.
