Stanford in all black?
I haven't seen any shots of the stadium yet, but there's empty seats? That's pretty bad because that place isn't even that big.
RE: The Friday night time slot. The trend I don't like in college football is that they're trying to move all the marquee games to Saturday night and that late Saturday afternoon time slot has been almost gotten forgotten. The late Saturday afternoon time slot is golden where games are starting in the 3-5 pm eastern range.
I dig the all black.
The matte helmets too.
I don't like the matte black look and was disappointed to hear that we are going to them next year. I really liked the shiny black helmets that we've used the past 2 seasons.
Damn, great game so far. Two quality rushing offenses having at it.
Wow. Never knew Ed Hockuli (sp?) has a brother who is a ref.
I wondered about that too when I heard his name?
I hope you got your college picks in this week. Maybe you can still catch up in the pick 'em!
I picked UCLA to win. Tough in any sport for relatively equal team to beat the other team twice in a row.
I am dead. I rolled the dice last week trying to catch you, and failed miserably. You are the champ!
I thought it was his son that refs in the Pac 12.
must be. Did not know if what his son or brother. But definitely related. He needs to start lifting weights, however, to catch up to Ed.
Huge momentum shift. UCLA was driving deep for a 21-7 lead, and turned it over to Stanford. 14-14.
Is that why they called the Stanford LB down at the one rather than a td?
Gawd I can't stand the way Gus Johnson calls games
I'd take Skove, Reynolds, Thompson. Like that big #11 for Ucla too, pretty sure he's the one that wrecked Barkley. Like too many guys from both teams on O to list.
Me too. He tries to make every play call sound like "THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT! THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!"
and he looks like a girl.
Once again, we see an example of Satans handy work....
