Offseason Buffs Trivia (Part III)

Played on Christmas Day, 1993, the Buffs squashed a Trent Dilfer-led Fresno State squad 41-30. Dilfer had 523 passing yards, but the Buffs scored 24 points off of 5 FSU turnovers and led the entire game. The Buffs led 20-3 with one second left in the 1st half, only to watch the ensuing kickoff returned for a touchdown to cut the lead to 20-10 (the play was offically ruled a fumble return for a TD due to a lateral). Donnell Leomiti scored a defensive touchdown and the Buffs D held Fresno State to 3 yards rushing. Rashaan Salaam (23-135 yds) had 3 rushing TD's, including one from 40 yards out. A late FSU TD made the final score closer than the game deserved.
This trivia was resolved much more quickly and cleaner than Part II, which was so controversial that it wound up in Plati-'Tudes:
