Ole Miss Notice of Allegations

Friday is the best day for negative press releases. Even better when a 3 day weekend is starting. Add in the Baylor stuff, and boom, great PR play!
Nah, no credit due, its too Textbook; everybody knows that trick. You get credit for being innovative, this isn't.

exactly, it's classic university media department stuff. school ends, everyone is happy/relieved. CU does it. years past it's when CU announced (or just straight up did it) knocking down "historical" houses on Grandview Terrace for parking etc.

Imagine if we had a PR staff like that during the Barnett era. Sigh.
Didn't need a whole PR staff, just an AD who was actually present in Boulder (rather than running around the country watching his kids play), who was engaged/competent enough to tell GB and everyone else, to STFU! To top it off, that AD was a local attorney and former University counsel who surely should have known better than to allow anyone besides a single designated, well-prepared person, to speak to the press. (Even the tiniest towns in Colorado know enough to have a single spokesperson speak on their behalf in a crisis!) Everyone else should have been in "No Comment" or "I have to direct your question to Susie Jones" mode.
In my opinion, the "FAIL" was almost entirely on him! That level of AD malpractice cost the CU FB program years of recovery and it still lingers!
