Opponents of Teams Ranked Above CU

Even though its the AP Poll, get this:

#13 Mizzou: Alcorn St. and Nicholls St.

#18 UNLV: No. AZ and Jacksonville St

#19 Memphis: No. FLA and Samford

#22 Cincinnati: Miss. Valley St and No. Carolina A&T

And why is "ineligible for post-season" Connecticut even ranked(#21)???

It's ridiculous. Early polls are more about expectations and reputations than they are about performance.

Regarding UConn, AP ranks ineligible teams. For football, they've got Ohio State at #4.

Reputation is everything, it's why questionable Kentucky UConn and Arizona squads get the benefit of the doubt with 18-14 records and make the Big Dance (Zona last year was an exceptional situation, 95 percent of the time these teams get in over a 21 win CU)
