Oregon State Pregame Thread

I do think our O line was MUCH improved in the last game.
The BUFFS need to win this game, or they're done.

If they can get a win, they will have a bit more confidence for a mathchup with Washington State (who suddenly looks pretty good).
if they lose, the season is over and I think MM would have to be let go at the end.

I'm hoping they can pull it togther, but it's so draining to follow these guys all season and get so stinking close and fall apart.
I expected a win last season against Oregon St, and we fell as well....I honestly don't know what to expect from our team anymore.

CU usually plays worse on the road, Oregon State probably plays better at home. Neither team is very good on defense. I expect that OSU is looking for a conference Win as bad as CU. I just fear this team will not be mentally tough on the road after getting beat at home. Time to see how this team responds.

This is a must win for MM for any last shred of respectability. MM is in his third year while Gary Anderson is in his first year. The OSU roster is relatively shaky. MM will have nothing to point to in terms of Pac 12 progress if he loses to OSU.

I agree.
We go 4-0 in NC games we have a legitimate shot at a bowl game and respectability.
That's one reason why we don't have a bye week...to have another shot at one more win.

Now MM is coaching for his job. Lose here and he's got to go, unfortunately.

Not exactly - with 13 games they have to win 7 for a bowl, with a bye week and 12 games it would only require 6. However, dropping Nichols for a bye wouldn't have helped the record.

Of course you could be sarcastic and I missed it..,

This is a must win for both teams as far as respectability in conference. Their coach is in his first year, so the pressure is not on him as much as MM.

Vegas has beavs picked by 3

He's listed as out, and then he's starting, but Gillam is listed as probable, but now he's out for the season? What gives?
What gives is that "Rob Veno Sports" is not a reasonable source because there is no "listed" for players that don't have long term injuries. Apparently they're just guessing.
