At a glance, these seem to be good changes. The immediate effect of the rewritten transfer rules could be a good, quick source for new talent not happy elsewhere in the conference (and, of course, it could screw us, too). Will be interesting to see how things unfold.

Not coming out of the SEC?

    I'm shocked

Looks like a pretty good set of changes. Don't think that the 4 year scholly part is going to impact that many kids. If they want to get rid of a kid they still will be able to, just not as openly.

The medical coverage for 4 years after separation is way overdue. Kids get hurt playing college sports and then get left out to dry as soon as they end their eligibility.

In terms of the financial support to complete degrees, how is a kid that is only 50% of the way to graduation after 4 years even eligible?
