You know the season is just around the corner when teams actually start practicing. That happens this week, this weekend and next week. Of course, some teams' practices are closed to fans and media -- such as California, Colorado, Oregon and Stanford -- and others are open, such as Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA and Washington State (during the preseason). Others are open to just the media, such as USC and Washington. And some give the media limited access, such as Arizona and Utah.
