Pac-12 Schedule Released!

What is there? Keep in mind Rugged doesn't do anything but drink and get punched.

Yakima is like sonoma for hops. So the majority of the west coast beers use yakima valley hops. They are about 3 hours away, but that should be right about harvest time, so you might be able to fresh pick hops on Sunday before you head home. Walla Walla is a pretty big wine country if you are into that, I'm sure my wife will drag me there. As for Pullman itself, it is probably not that great (have never been there before), but it is a 5 hour drive from Seattle, 6 hours from Portland and a bit over an hour from Spokane where you will most likely fly into if you go (direct flights on frontier)

USC is also on the list, but I think we have no shot at beating them and would like to save that trip for two years when we actually have a chance against them. My plan is to work on the PAC 12 north teams first since those game rotate less often and then work my way through the south, even though I have already seen some of the teams play CU.

Great chance to build some early momentum and get ourselves into a bowl game. I think Wazzu might be my road game if I can get the logistics figured out

ASU's bye weekend is the same as ours. They will get the same amount of time to prepare.

No matter what they get, the fact we have a week off before a thursday night, nationally televised game, at home is a very good thing for us. ASU showed their true colors at the end of the season, and with burfict likely declaring and osweiler possibly transferring, they will not be the same team we played.

I guess this year is not one where we can make fun of other team's weak OOC schedule. And after this past year, I'm ok with that this time!

Time to get in touch with Rugged. What do you guys think. Which game should we go to? Arizona? USC? WSU? Oregon? I'm leaning WSU or Arizona. Arizona sounds nice.

I'd go Oregon, then Arizona, then USC.

LA is a little to plain - Oregon would give you the best college atmosphere, plus you need to take pics with the oregon cheerleaders.

the problem is that Oregon fans are huge douchebags.

Best schedule we could hope for in another year of the rebuilding period. Might as well play at USC and Oregon. We should go into every other game expecting to compete.

That's the truth.

Anyone notice that five of the first six games has CU facing schools who will have new coaches this season? We could get off to a fast start this season.

Most of the douchebags will stay away from a game vs Colorado since they would rather show up to watch a team like USC or Stanford. The fans are fine as long as you stay away from the student section.

I know this is because I am drinking the kool-aid big time, and am praying that my last year at this school sees us at least becoming bowl elligible, however I do not see why we do not start out 6-0.

CSU-sucks/new coach
FCS School- sucks (if we lose, i may go jump off one of the flatirons)
Fresno State- usually decent but with a new coach I give us the advantage
WSU- Sucks/new coach
UCLA- Sucks/new coach
ASU-Sucks/new coach

USC - we lose
Oregon- we lose
Stanford-we lose (however at home and without luck could be more interesting)
Arizona- Sucks/new coach
Washington- at home might be winnable but probably a loss
Utah-we win

We should have a D-1 talent starting for us at QB one way or another. We should finally have some young talented depth at DL. We should have some serious play makers at WR and RB. Our secondary should be much improved from last year.

I see about 8 that we should win on our schedule this year. But knowing our buffs, I will be happy with 6-6 and a bowl game in Embree's second season.

I second what Shldr2Shldr said...we have the chance for a fast start to the season and that confidence gained by the team could mean a big win or two.

I hate to say it, but the games worth watching are all in Boulder next year. Tucson is a possibility, but it's true that Tempe (Phoenix) is a lot nicer than Tucson. Tucson is OK, but it's nothing special. It reminds me of Colorado Springs without the mountains. They do have some good Messican restaurants in Tucson, though.

I know its early, but roll call for some of those games (especially Tempe in November) is already sounding good!

Fri, Nov. 30 -- Pac-12 Football Championship Game

Love the schedule, especially the bye and the 3 home games in november. Usc and oregon back to back on the road will be nasty.

CU wins the OOC cupcake award. Utah is runner up.

BYU is featured on three P12 OOC schedules; Utah, Oregon State, & Washington State. The zoobs are practically in the conference.

U$C has Hawaii on the schedule, but only 12 games. Does that mean they really don't love money?

UCLA plays Rice and Houston. It's like a keystone project for recruits between UCLA's tar sand and H-town's high school recruiting refineries.

I have my eye on Wazzou and USC as likely roadies. If you miss Oregon, the next chance is 2016...the. next presidential campaign.
