What's the cliff notes version of the article? Stupid San Jose paper is blocked here at work.

DirecTV looks good, Pac12Network (main channel) will be on basic tier in Denver, sports or digital tier outside of footprint. However, looks like only one Pac12 channel per area (still confusing).

    Dish looks bad.

I wonder how that first part translates to Directv for us Zone 2 people. They don't really have a "digital tier", and most of their packages are the same in all locations. Will it be in a basic package in the zone 1 cities but only on the sports tier in zone 2 cities? Is that kind of how they handle channels like Altitude? I've got the sports tier, so I'm really not sure what channels you got on more basic tiers....
