Is GNickle hurt or does he just have the weakest leg in the NCAA? I find myself somewaht satisfied when his kicks go further than 30 yards. And not to bag on him alone but we haven't had a weapon at punter since the old days when we were almost Ray Guy U (80s and 90s). Is it just a hard position to recruit?

Under Barny we had some good punters too. A Guy award winner or runner-up

No kidding!! Iowa State had a good punter and a good punter can change field position for you.

From all accounts he was better in HS. He's regressed. All of our kickers have regressed under Riddle. Can we get any of these guys a coach?

Jim Tressel says the punt is the most important play in football. I trust what he has to say about the game.

I agee. Alex Henery almost beat us singlehandedly last year.

Torp was good. Actually, memory serves DiLallo was a very highly regarded Punter from FL and he never really lived up to the hype.

Dang it Wally. I've spent a lot of time and money in therapy, trying to forget that 138 yd prayer of a FG (and it's not easy with my extended family greeting me with, "it's good" everytime I see them.

Then again, last time we played in Stlincon, Cody came within that hail mary of a kick from beating lil red, so maybe he'll get a chance to close the deal this year.
