QB situation not looking good for Lambs

Borcky became an option after junior Jon Eastman suffered a broken finger Thursday on his non-throwing hand. Eastman underwent surgery and is expected back Tuesday. Sophomore Klint Kubiak has missed the bulk of fall camp with a shoulder injury and freshman Nico Ranieri has been limited with a hernia.

How serious are these injuries? Eastman broke a finger, had surgery, and will be back playing 5 days later?

Even if the injuries themselves are nothing too serious, they do take a toll on practice reps and the overall depth of the squad.

Not good news for the goats.

Does anyone have any more info on this situation? I tried to check Lambnation, but they are all too busy talking about the Buffs :lol:

I hear they're appealing the NCAA to get a 7th year of eligibility for Kory Sperry so they can ask him to play QB.
